Jarryd Dillas, BGA Vice President: “As always, the NatWest Island Games was a fantastic experience and I think everyone enjoyed themselves and the opportunity to represent Bermuda in an international event. Both teams came away a bit disappointed that, for the first time since Bermuda has been represented in the Golf Competition, we were unable to bring back a team or individual medal; however there were many positives to take away from the week and build upon for the future.

“On behalf of the players, I wish to say thank you to Jon Beard, Juanita Blee and Georgina Francoeur from the Bermuda Island Games Association, for everything they did for us and the entire Bermuda contingent throughout the Games. Additionally, we’d like to acknowledge and express our sincere thanks to Arch Capital Group, Keen Ltd. and Red Laser for agreeing to sponsor our men’s and ladies teams, without which the opportunity to compete in the Games would not have been possible.”
