Bermudian golfer Jarryd Dillas has narrowly missed qualifying for the U.S. Open to be held at Pebble Beach.  After advancing through local qualifying, Jarryd, playing in Georgia, attemted to advance through sectional qualifying. After a 1-under 71 in the first round of the 36-hole qualifier, Jarryd was in third place and in a great position to be among the top two players who advance to the U.S. Open field. Unfortunately, Jarryd’s second round 80 left him in a tie for 14th place.
