Created by one of the world’s top golf course designers, Robert Trent Jones Sr, in 1970, Port Royal has now been completely reworked by Roger Rulewich, one of the original design team, in a Bermuda Government owned project. $14.5 million has been lavished on this remarkable public course in preparation for the 2009/10 PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

LPGA Futures Tour player Perry Swenson made history when she became the first female professional to compete in the Bermuda Open. Playing from the championship tees, Swenson carded a 56-over-par total of 340 for last place among the professionals to complete the tournament.
Bermuda Golf Association president Terry West presents European Senior PGA Tour player Jerry Bruner with the champions trophy for his victory in the 2010 Bermuda Open Golf Championship. Bruner won by one shot over Nationwide Tour player Brennan Web. Webb narrowly missed forcing a play-off when his three foot par putt slid by the hole. The victory earned Bruner $20,000.
